This is either a bug, or a massive oversight. That said many of the Chaos Dwarf Heroes have unique starting ancillaries, only available to that hero type, that have the "Lord's Army" qualifier and thus do absolutely nothing. This has been handwaived away saying that it is due to Heroes and Lords sharing a recruit trait pool. It is a known issue that heroes can acquire starting ancillaries that do not do anything because the requirement of "Lord's Army" means that it only works on a lord. (Old screenshot, but it still happens in 3.0) When looking at them from far away it affects the whole unit. Close up this happens only to a few models. Sisters of Thorn aren't properly attached to their mounts and occasionally float in front or behind them. If you try to position multiple units of them at once there is a gap in the center of the formation and the order they get sorted in seems to be completely random instead of corresponding to the order of the unit cards in the UI like with every other unit in the game. Two of Eltharions mistwalker units have weird issues with right click dragging (Spire Guard of Tor Yvresse and Skyhawks). Because they are holding a bow in one hand instead of dual swords the weapon twirling they do looks very janky and causes their weapons to clip through each other (or at least they would clip, if their sword wasn't missing right now). Sisters of Avelorn use the Wardancer idle animation if they are in melee mode/their ammo has run out. Sisters of Avelorn, Free Company Milita and Doomfire Warlocks are still missing their swords. There appears to be some improvement from 2.4 as they mostly seem stop screaming after the enemy has run away, but it isn't completely fixed. Sisters of Avelorn, Witch Elves, Wardancers and Bladesingers scream non-stop when they are in melee combat or sometimes even just stood near enemies. It stops happening if you give a halt order or a direct attack order, but if you just move them around while on fire at will they lose out on a lot of damage.įrom my limited testing this issue actually appears to have gotten worse in 3.0 It seems it seems like even more models per unit are dancing around now which cuts down the units DPS even further.Īudio for several all-female units. A couple models keep dancing around, the unit card still shows they are running even though unit has come to a stop and the whole unit uses the 'on the move' targeting where they all shoot at a single model in an enemy unit instead of spreading their arrows out over the enemy formation so most of the damage gets wasted. If you give them a move order while they are in range of an enemy unit with fire at will enabled they won't properly come to a stop once they reach their new destination. Unit behavior for all the Wood Elf archers and Shadow Warriors/Walkers. Missile units with an active attack order still charge at the enemy once their ammunition runs out even though guard mode is active. Gunners on walls get maybe one volley off before getting obstructed for no apparent reason. Common scenarios for LOS obstruction are shooting at large units engaged in melee with your own units, including massive units like greater daemons and stonehorns which are clearly visible to gunners and shooting down hills at enemy units below. Missile unit line of sight, especially for gunpowder units is still pretty unreliable for me. This is mostly copypasting stuff from the last thread which i have been able to confirm is still broken.
